What I really like about this design is the way that they have the type going diagonally in stripes and the way that the background texture on the stripes is more stripes that go in the same direction. I think that, and the way they have the drop shadows really adds interest and depth and breaks up the type to make it more interesting looking and easier to read. I also like the way that the type at the red stripe goes from small to large in the middle and kind of repeats that pattern up until you get to the dates.
